Gergő is currently studying International Security and Defense Studies at the University of Public Service in Hungary. As this is his final year of his MSc, he will most probably also end his years of MUN, and he really wanted to honour his last chance of serving his student organisation and conference.

Throughout the years, PGAs have always enjoyed a highly respective role being Secretariat member and chairing the General Assembly. Kornél as the President of the General Assembly this year is, however, responsible for more than chairing the General Assembly and helping to enhance the Rules of Procedure. This year, we have established a mentoring and teaching period to prepare the Presidents of Chambers to deliver their duties according to Munapest standards. For this, Kornél is considered the President of Presidents, or a doyen, representing a link between the Secretariat and the professional team.
As a law student, he has learnt how to stick to the rules and norms of international diplomacy, therefore during the conference he will oversee that the participants act according to the Rules of Procedure. Since Kornél is the President of Presidents, this year he has to give up on his tradition of not wearing a tie at the General Assembly. Besides not wearing a tie, his hobby is playing tennis.
The role of Nikolett as the Head of Public Relations is to coordinate the promotion of Munapest on social media platforms and towards universities and other MUN societies. With her team, she is responsible for creating the conference materials such as placards, signs, guides, flyers, bags.

As one of Dorka’s biggest goals is to found her own PR and event organising company, Munapest is the perfect place where she feels she can oversee the whole process, how such a professional and quality conference is made behind the scenes. While having a Communication and Media Sciences major and a great obsession with conferences and elegant events, Munapest indeed does satisfy all her needs and curiosity how the small things will add up in the end during that one week.

The Head of Crisis position is a complex role that includes both the positions of Head of Press and Head of Crisis from previous years. This initiative gives the Head a unique opportunity to synchronise the efforts of these two bodies, as well as to enhance the interconnectivity system. Under Balázs, in the Team there will be a Crisis and a Press Officer with the Head’s tasks divided between them according to which body of the team they would be assigned to.
Balázs is currently doing his masters in International Relations at Corvinus University of Budapest. He is a motivated student pursuing his goal to improve his knowledge in the field of International Relations and Human Rights as much as he can in every way possible.
The Director of the General Assembly position was implemented during Munapest 2018 with a Crisis Team member having been asked to carry out the tasks of a director of a chamber.
